What is a String Quartet?
A String Quartet consists of a group of four instruments; two violins, a viola and a cello.
What music can you play?
Our extensive repertoire can be found listed on our music page. We can usually accommodate most tastes in music and are happy to play a selection of your choice. From Bach and Mozart to The Beatles. If you would like us to play something which is not listed on the music page, please let us know at least six weeks before your function and we will try to meet your demands.
What is your attire?
Our normal attire is all black with our black branded shirts. If you require a specific form of dress please contact us with your enquiry using the Enquiry Form.

Do you require a deposit?
We require a 25% non-returnable deposit at the time of booking to secure your date. Please see our Terms & Conditions for further information.
What happens if we require you longer on the day?
Due to the number of occasions we are required to play longer a flat fee of £300 per half hour or part thereof will be charged if you request us to play longer on the day or if we are required to stay longer at your event and is dependent on the availability of all players.
Do we need to supply anything?
We require 4 armless chairs. If we are playing outdoors we would prefer to be positioned out of direct sunlight. Our performance area needs to be a minimum 2.5m x 1.5m (approx. 8′ x 5′). We would also be very grateful for some refreshments.
Do you take any breaks?
Depending on how long we are playing for will determine the length and the number of breaks. Typically if we are playing for 1 hour we will not require a break, if we are playing for 2 hours we would break for 5-10 minutes. If we are playing any longer than 2 hours we will discuss this arrangement with you.
